I'm taking a break!

I made some travel changes already - the benefits of living out of a van!
I was supposed to only do an overnight in Narooma. My friends convinced me to stay an extra day, take the day off driving and experience the sights of Narooma.
I decided to take their advice and slow down. The purpose of this trip is to travel and SEE the sights, not to speed by to get to the next destination.
My friend gave me a list of places to visit and I realised that this is the kind of travel advice I love.
I'm a solo traveller so I need to drive, find camp spots, map out where I'm going, research where to explore, film, shoot and edit all the content I create, not to mention all the daily to dos like cook, clean, food shop, fill fuel, eat, sleep... and every other little thing! That's a lot for one person to do.
I happily took my friends local advice and set off on my Narooma adventure.
I started off at Camel Rock Beach and knew I had to film another vlog here (even on my days off I can't stop working!)
I did the hike up to Horse Head Rock - and it was incredible.
Later that afternoon I met up with my friend and took off on E-Bikes in search of seals. Spoiler alert - we found them! I also found Australia Rock and had to have the obligatory photo. We biked all the way up to Kianga Point and. all I could think of was when I could get back here to park my van on the cliff face for a drone photoshoot.
The next day I headed off to make it across the border to Victoria. Yes, I'm still travelling at full speed, but Narooma taught me the first few steps in slowing down.
I think this is going to be one of my biggest lesson to learn on this trip.
That, or I need to figure out how to fit more hours in one day...
At this point I feel like I'm closer to achieving #2
See you in Victoria
Tam x
