The Height of Exhaustion

I’m tired.
And it’s not only because I rode 52kms across Bright in 32 degree weather.
I’ve been pushing myself too hard, trying to cover more distance than time will allow. I’m capturing so much content and I don’t have the time to pull it all together and share it.
When I get to my campsite at the end of the day I’m so exhausted. Completely and totally drained of energy.
I still have to set up my van for camp. Cook dinner, clean, wash up, shower, charge camera batteries, download footage from the day and organise my stuff for tomorrows adventure. And don’t even talk about spending the time to wind down before bed.
I used to listen to an evening meditation to help me drift off to sleep. These days I barley have the energy to turn it on before I’m out like a light.
When I wake, I do it all again.
Something needs to change. I can’t keep travelling like this. I’m seeing so much, but not really seeing anything. The problem is, I know what’s not working. I just don’t know what I can let go of to fix it. Right now though, I’m so tired.
This is a problem for another day.
